Store Executive

Job Summary
The Stores Executive is responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, ensuring
proper inventory control, material handling, documentation, and coordination with
procurement and production teams. The role ensures accurate stock records, timely
material issuance, and efficient warehouse management.

Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
• Maintain accurate stock records (inward & outward entries).
• Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of materials.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation.
• Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels.
Goods Receipt & Inspection
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
• Inspect materials for quantity and quality compliance.
• Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and update inventory system.
Material Issue & Dispatch
• Issue materials as per approved requisitions.
• Prepare delivery challans and dispatch documentation.
• Ensure proper packaging and labeling of materials.
Documentation & Record Keeping
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices, GRNs, and stock registers.
• Update ERP or inventory management software regularly.
• Generate periodic inventory and stock movement reports.
Warehouse Maintenance
• Ensure proper storage and categorization of materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the store area.

• Follow FIFO/LIFO principles where applicable.
Coordination
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and accounts departments.
• Communicate stock shortages and discrepancies to management.



Required Skills
• Knowledge of inventory management systems / ERP.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in manufacturing / industrial setup.
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards.
• Ability to handle audits and stock reconciliation.
